The base of this 1990's ship's beacon light has been painted grey, and the cover is a vibrant green.
Once used for navigation it would have originally been fitted with a set of rotating bulbs, which would make the light appear to flash as a warning signal, similar to the mechanism used in a lighthouse.
Professionally re-wired with a single globe, this light would look fantastic in a cafe or bar, or as an occasional light in a nautical themed home.
We have others of this style with clear covers also available on the website.
