Pair of Purple Glass Insulators #4323


These insulators once graced the tops of power poles!


The purple colour of the glass is caused by manganese used in production reacting to sunlight. We can place these at around 100yrs old, as the manganese ceased to be used at this time.


One has a small flaw in the glass as you can see in the photos below.


Perfect to display in a vignette at home.
