This chart is a 1974 printed version of the old 1960 chart from Cape Cuvier to Champion Bay in Western Australia.
It includes Geraldton, Port Gregory, Shark Bay & the many islands along this coast in the Indian Ocean.
There is a note at the top that says: Rock Lobster Fishery. Between November and June, extensive lobster fishing takes place on the continental shelf between latitudes of 24oS & 34oS. When passage permits mariners are requested to travel outside the 200 metre (100 fms) isobath.
A beautiful old detailed chart in black & white and a great conversation piece. This chart would make a lovely piece to frame and hang on the wall.
Old charts are hard to come by as once out of production, retailers are required to return stock to be replaced with new editions.
measures approx 110cm high x 72cm.
