This pair of round brass portholes are from a shipwreck in the Pacific.
The previous owner had them sandblasted, cleaning old layers of paint from the metal, and giving the glass an opaque quality.
The bars that are there to protect the glass are a separate piece, and you can choose to fit them or not depending on your style. One set of bars appears to have had a repair done to them by the previous owner as shown in the photos.
The would be fantastic fitted to the wall or a door.
